there is no set keg size from country to country or even brewery to brewery they are diff but a true keg is a 1/2 barrel and a beer barrel was 50gal

most us kegs are 1/2 barrels or 15.5 gal so that would be 15.5 gal x 128 oz per gal1984 fl.oz.

a pony keg is 1/4 keg so that's  7.75 gal =992 fl.oz.

there is a smaller keg than a pony but i cant remember its size its like 5 gal or some were around there.
ive got 3 kegs in my shop 2 stainless steel and 1 aluminum. the stainless steel i got to make boilers out of to make bio diesel in or alcohol distilling for fuel but never got around to finishing the set ups.
now im thinking of making refractory forges out of the 2 stainless ones.

Wow...nice answer. And, you're right. There are several keg sizes so it was a trick question. There is the original whole keg (barrel), which you can't even buy anymore to my knowledge, then there is the most common keg which is a 1/2 barrel. The pony keg (1/4 barrel), and yes, they make some smaller ones now that have become popular for home use, or a pub that wants to offer several micro-brews on tap without taking up a lot of space (it tends to be changed out a lot more often so it's fresher too..) These little ones are about as big as a soda canister used at soda fountains. 4-5 gal. sounds about right

Generally the bar / restaurant industry just rounds it off at 1970 fl.oz. for general inventory purposes.

Ok here's the answer

1969:
Six weeks after landing men on the moon, Americans take another giant leap for mankind with the nation’s first cash-spewing, automated teller machine.
The machine, called the Docuteller, was installed in a wall of the Chemical Bank in Rockville Centre, New York. It marked the first time reusable, magnetically coded cards were used to withdraw cash.
A bank advertisement announcing the event touted, “On Sept. 2, our bank will open at 9:00 and never close again!

a easier question

1981 saw the abolition of which means of execution in France?

Sorry man...that was tough, and we let it slip through the cracks...

They abolished all capitol punishment in 1981... (but I think the only method they used at the time was be-heading by a guillotine)

I thought so too, but the research I did says it was either a German Shepard or a Shiloh Shepherd and that the dog was dipped in a hair dye to make it look different from any dog of today. So I guess this is kind of a trick question. After looking closely at photos of both breeds I tend to lean towards the Shiloh Shepherd. I used to own a German Shepard...what an amazing dog!

Close enough DB...ask away...

when i was a kid we had a retired police German Shepard one of the best dogs ive ever had he took to me like white on rice and no one could touch or move at me in a aggressive way or he would have them backing up scarred to death even my parents couldn't raise there voice point, or move at me with out him raising his hackles and moving between me and them. they had to put him in the bathroom or lock him down stairs in the basement when ever i got in trouble.

next question.

In the first celebrity fundraiser, in 1971, musical stars Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, and Ringo Starr joined event coordinator and former Beatle George Harrison to raise money for hungry residents of what starving nation?
